Stoke midfielder Jermaine Pennant has today signed a three month loan deal with Wolverhampton Wanderers, after failing to make an impression so far this season.

The former Arsenal and Liverpool winger had seemingly fallen down the pecking order at the Britannia Stadium, after an apparent falling out with boss Tony Pulis in the middle of last season.

Wolves chief executive Jez Moxey claimed Pennant was a great addition to the Molineux outfit given their recent injury crisis, and suggested a dealer be struck in January which extends the deal – possibly into a permanent transfer.
