Port Vale FC Appoint Darren Moore as Manager

Another 5.5 year contract, they don't mess around with the length of their managerial contracts do they !

Another expensive one for them if it all goes tits up

I'm never sure these contracts are really worth the paper they are written on. I can't see PVFC having the money to pay him off, say 5 years, if it all goes tits up in 6 months. There must be clauses in there we don't hear about

Decent appointment for them , though not sure if it’s his ascent , but he always comes across as very carefully picking his words , which make it all sound very conceived rather than from the heart .. the length of the contract is strange , though I guess any clauses regards payments on dismissal which few will ever see is equally important ..is it also due to paying him perhaps 2 1/2 years money over 5 1/2 years

Agreed like us they’ve got some big games coming up , including tonight

TBH I know many will say sod em ..and obviously our issues are the bigger concern ( to us at least ) … but not good to see both major clubs in the city in such dire trouble

A huge 2 points lost. their next game is away against Derby. Mind you the Mad Snake Oil salesman managed his first win for Charlton away at Derby recently. The Chest Thumping must have been epic !

Well, after Charlie Adams Fleetwood grabbing two late goals on Tuesday to deny Vale three valuable points, up pops Dwight Gayle to score Derbys second in their 3-0 victory.

Nice to see our old boys putting the boot in 😉

They look in a whole world of shit don't they, even more than we do!

A couple of our drivers at work are ST holders at the Vale and they have given up hope, said it's a shit show.

Mr Flitcoft is getting some "hammer' from the fans and other sources (allegedly) they have no other explanation for him still being in a job

"anything that touches the ball is Dave Flitcroft. So, the first team, the academy and also the pitch, the groundstaff will work for Dave"

Vale owner in 2023

To be fair to him it does sound like he’s inherited a bunch of no hopers. Perhaps they’ll stick with him and let him bring his own players in.
