We don't intend to implement draconian rules or treat people like children, We (as in myself and the moderators) expect that this is pretty self-explanatory, the whole reason I set about making Potters-Online was to give like-minded people a place to talk about the club in a friendly environment, we do not want things becoming hateful, derogatory or abusive, we expect that if you are using this platform that you treat each other with respect, differences of opinion are what a forum is all about if you can't discuss things without resorting to personally picking people apart then this isn't the place for you.

To explain our moderation system in a little more detail, we have a warning system, moderators will warn you about conduct, to which you will of course have the right to respond. We will not go down the "instant ban" route and we will always give you a chance to talk things through with the moderators.

One thing that will land you an instant ban is any form of hate speech, homophobia or racism, this isn't welcome here and we will ban any account that goes here without recourse.

Here are a few very simple requests that we would like users to adhere to -

4. Respect Privacy:
   • Do not share personal information about yourself or others on the forum.
   • Respect the privacy of fellow members
5. No Trolling:
   • Avoid trolling full stop!
   • Report any disruptive behaviour to the moderators instead of escalating conflicts.
6. Use Descriptive Titles:
   • When creating a new thread, use clear and descriptive titles that reflect the content of your post.
7. Moderator Decisions:
   • Accept and adhere to decisions made by the forum moderators.
   • If you have concerns, contact a moderator privately to discuss the issue.
8. Help Keep the Forum Tidy:
   • Use appropriate forums for your posts and ensure your contributions are relevant to the ongoing discussions.
9. Enjoy and Have Fun:
   • Remember that the primary goal is to share your passion for Stoke City FC and enjoy engaging with fellow fans.
