Stoke travel to South Wales on Wednesday evening at they come up against Swansea City. A mixed season for them as they’re also on to their second manager and a little bit like Stoke you don’t quite know what you’re going to get.

Luke Williams has them okaying possession based football but since the Cardiff victory their performance levels have dropped. Most recently losing away at Middlesbrough.

After stoke gaining a point from being in a 2-0 down position you’d like to think they’d be heading into this one with some confidence. I personally think this is a huge game as a win here takes the pressure off the next two huge games and leaves us extremely close if not there regarding safety.

Swansea pose a very different opposition as they don’t seem to score many but do keep the ball for the majority of their games. Can Stoke be clinical? I really hope so.

I’m going for a 3-1 away win to hopefully secure safety and allow us to approach Sheff Wed & Plymouth slightly more comfortably. I say this result with a glimpse of hope as I’ll be one of the supporters travelling there!

What’s your prediction for the game?

UTMP!

After our WBA fight back I’m filled with optimism for our trip to Swansea. We seem to have some fight and belief that we can do something which is good to see as we usually cave in once we are a goal down.

I’ve no idea regarding team selection. The boss is always changing and rotating the team in which anyone could turn out so I’m not predicting the line up but I will go for a comfortable, controlled away victory.

0-2 👍

Agreed, can’t lose this one again. I think we will draw. If we win it changes the next two games hugely… win against Swansea means draws against others are absolutely fine regarding safety.

Hope you’re right! Im in Swansea now as my best friend plays for them. They’re well up for it and know how much this game means so I really hope we have the same drive and hunger tonight. First goal is huge, it’s wet & rainy which makes me want to believe for a typical Stoke win 😂

Hope its a great night for you and a miserable one for your mate 😁👍

Absolutely awful. Honestly so bad.. I won’t say much other than my friend unfortunately did get his goal 👎🏻

Doesn’t make it any better. We were genuinely horrific tonight. Having being one of the biggest supporters of the manager all of his decisions today were wrong. Can’t defend that.

That was shocking…

I quite liked the line up but now we are seeing the true character of some of these little darlings. They all have the ability to perform better but so many of them preferred not to and that’s unacceptable to me.

I know we should have been given the equaliser and that was an atrocious refereeing decision but I don’t think it would have made a difference to the outcome. We were easily outfought, way too easily.

I had begun to believe we would get out of this mess but you just don’t know who will turn up and perform on the day. We are still very much in it.

I can only hope we somehow survive, offload a lot of these wimps who can’t fight and replace them with players who can.

At least Jonny Walters knows the DNA code and can perhaps influence our rebuild, whatever league we are in.

Totally unacceptable, timid, half hearted display from everyone involved and an embarrassment to Stoke City FC.

Completely agree.

I don’t know how many contracts are up at the end of the season but im pretty sure it’s a fair few including loanees. It literally looked like last night all the players just want the season over which is understandable but if they won it near enough would have been! Idiotic.

Next two games decide our fate, that’s where we are. It really does look like the Stoke Plymouth game is going to be a relegation decider for one of the teams.
