Stoke travel to Blackburn for a 3pm kick off this coming Saturday. Its a game that already feels like a must win game when you look at the Sky Bet Championship league table.

Blackburn have rumours that their manager is due to be sacked in the coming days, while Stoke have removed one of their marquee signings Ryan Mmaee from the first team squad to train with the Under 21s. Both teams are in an incredibly insecure position with 3 points needed. A huge performance is needed from the Potters.

Im going for a 3-1 win with a few of our January signings making a difference. Ennis to return to Ewood Park to show them what they’ve let go.

Hopeful Lineup:
Iverson.
Tchamadue.
Wilmott.
Rose.
Gooch.
Burger.
Baker.
Junho.
Leris.
Ennis.
Manhoef.

Juniors return will make a big difference at the back, we should get to see what Ennis can bring ( if anything ) and likewise with Million so we should be a little bit stronger than previous games at least.

Managerial changes at their end could have an impact although I think their issues lie deeper than any manager. Last week I would have said an easyish victory for us, events this week could make it more difficult. Both sides need a win, both sides will want to avoid defeat so could be a close cagey game.

I’m still going for a win here but a bit with a bit of a struggle.

1-2 Burger and Million to score 👍

I'm feeling positive about this one!

I don't think there will be a managerial change before tomorrow now, and apparently, things are toxic at Ewood Park right now.

Hopefully, the registered charity that is SCFC takes a day off and we go and grab 3 much-needed points!

1-2 to the Potters 🤞

It’s a huge game for whoever plays up front isn’t it really. A lot of pressure of Ennis shoulders returning to his former club and playing in a team that’s struggling to score, especially from open play.

I would absolutely love to see one of our players to get a couple of goals tomorrow. It would be a huge lift if someone turned up to become a main goal threat for us.

Eustace appointed and will take charge tomorrow for Blackburn
Typical! Thankfully he will have little chance to implement much. It shouldn’t matter who is in charge of them, we have to approach it with the same confidence as before. 3 points is vital.

He isn’t in charge for tomorrow’s game apparently. Previous assistant will be in charge with Eustace in ‘close attendance’.

marginally better second half but we’re still a million miles away from looking like a team.

One things for certain we don’t have the players for a relegation fight, loose on Wednesday and we are starting to get cut adrift.

We can’t keep blaming the managers, the recruitment and senior management team are culpable for their short sightedness. for example it’s been clear to every single fan since the summer we need a left back, yet they’ve chosen to ignore it.

At least 2 of the goals against today came from the left back position.

Ricky the car sales man Martin can take his five pillars or KPIs or what ever bullshit jargon he wants to throw out to make it sound like he’s any clue what he’s doing and go and try them at some other club.

Get a proper director of football in place asap for Christ's sake JC.

The players he and Jared have “identified” on the whole are just not good enough bar a few, time for them to fall on their sword for me.

Couldn’t agree more. Especially regarding Ricky Martin. Awful. Listening to him last night showed it.

SS please go now , bigger fraud than AN and Mad Nath, your tactics left us wide open today , our goals against are horrific

I understand why you feel that. For me it’s a different perspective. I don’t think he should be sacked even if we get relegated.

What do you think the answer is to a turn in the last five years? Do you genuinely think it’s another manager… like the previous six we have had? (That’s a genuine question, as I don’t see if that way this time where I previously have).

Just seen a pretty damning statistics to the combination of Wilmot and any other in comparison to Rose & McNally partnerships. I think highly of wilmot as a ball playing defender, but I do wonder whether we need to revert back to McNally/Rose combination right now. They know each other and are more of a classic CB partnership.
