Can't see either of those stumping up the cash to sign him permanently and can't see why his development would be better served by switching his loan to them. Unless he's unhappy with what he's getting at Stoke, competing higher up the table doesn't actually benefit him at all. Switching to a different loan club mid season at the same level is seldom successful for the players development.
