Tatsuki Seko

Impressed me again today, he spots danger very well !

Taking him off changed the game a little, I can only think it was his minutes this week that saw him subbed.

Good signs so far 👌

11 league games, no significant actions either offensively or defensively. No yellows or reds. This bloke is a tidy little metronome but is that what we need or can afford at this level with this vulnerable team. Reminds me of Ryan Woods.

Luxury player looks tidy but doesn’t actually contribute much of significance. Moving him further forward compounds the problem of lack of output. He plays simple passes not killer passes.

I think his problem is that when he’s deep there’s very little movement in front of him and so he has no viable options other than to go sideways or backwards.

Get a real DM in there and Seko can play balls through to our forwards much more easily, playing the sort of role Cundle did for us.

I think adding Seko to the attacking/creative side of the team would be a victory for fantasy over logic. He’s not a creative player and he’s not a player who’s going to play quick passes in tight areas. I think the best thing to do with Seko should be to bench him and play two deep lying midfielders with some physicality who will battle and Moran as an AM in the role Cundle occupied during our good form at the end of last season. Moran hasn’t been spectacular but at least he has some output. We already have Junho who isn’t contributing any from open play why add another to the front end of our team??

Still really struggling to see what this guy is meant to offer. Zero physical presence not a battler evidenced by not a single card in 12 games, neither has he made a single significant attacking contribution. Yet he seems to escape even the mildest of criticism whilst others get slated.

He was poor today. I thought he was good when he finally got to play in the first team but like most of them seems to be regressing lately.

What’s happened to Junho ? Absolute crap lately, rightly dropped today and looked terrible when he came on. He even got out sprinted by Bannon today !

It's hard to say with Junho. IMO he flattered to deceive last season, Nice skills and can beat players with ease but his decision making in the final third was extremely suspect even then and his output wasn't too good either from a forward position. I liked watching him and hoped he'd kick on and improve but like you say he's gone backwards to the point of being a liability. Burger too but in comparison to Seko he's a warrior I just can't see the point in him at all I'm sure that any one of Lawal, Sidibe, Thompson would give you more bite alongside Burger at the base of the midfield.
