Stoke travel to Humberside to take on a play off hunting Hull on Good Friday. Its a sell out with both clubs desperate for the points to push them to the places in the table they need to get to.

Stoke are without numerous players for the trip, most notably Burger, Pearson & Gooch which will prove to mean a reshuffle to the starting line up again.

I’d be hugely happy with a point in this game but I think we should attack the game against a very good free flowing side.

I’m saying 1-1 with a Baker goal.

Line Up id go with:
Iverson.
Hoever, Willmot, Rose, Steven’s.
Thompson, Baker, Laurent.
Manhoeff, Ennis, Junho.

I can’t see us getting much here I’m afraid. Hull are a decent side who utilise their pacey wingers really well. Given our current fullback situation they’re going to give us problems.

Having said that Stoke can throw up some unexpected results do you never know.

Head says defeat but my heart says 1-1, Iverson having a blinder and keeping them down to 1 while at the other end we have a rare attack and grab a scrappy goal through a Thompson tap in.

Here’s hoping…

Was working in hull yesterday with two of their lads , they were not confident of a result against us and can’t understand why we are where we are

Are you a believer of us staying up now @Heworkshardtho 🙌🏻 massive three points!

I don’t think any of us did let’s be honest, I’d have been very surprised at picking up one point never mind three.

The danger now (and typical way of Stoke), is that we don’t follow it up against Huddersfield on Monday. If we lose against them at home it’ll be back to where we were. If we win I think we can start to breathe a little bit.

I think we are getting to the point now for some teams where playing for a draw is useless, Huddersfield being one of them. They have to come and push forward for a win which could very well play into our hands. A victory to us will take a lot of pressure off players, manager and fans. We can do this !!!

Absolutely.

Next 5 games are huge, 4 teams in the bottom half to be played. If we can pick up three against Huddersfield & 1/3 against Sheff Wed, Swansea & Plymouth I think that sees us safe (the WBA game in between is a bit of a free hit).

We are six points away from 50, which is usually safety. 7-9 points in the next five games and we are safe in my opinion.

We have to take 3 against Huddersfield to keep momentum, I don’t think anything less is good enough.
