We are currently sitting on 35 points and if we can replicate Wednesdays effort and determination we should be able to secure a few more. 50 points would surely be enough to survive but can we average 1 point a game over our last 15 games ?

I honestly don't care how we do it but we just have to, it would be a disaster for us to be relegated, one I feel would take a long time to recover from.

I think Rotherham and Sheff Wed are nailed on to go, leaving one space currently occupied by QPR on 29 points, they are within 10 points of everyone up to Plymouth in 16th, any one of the teams 16-22 for me could still finish in that 3rd spot.

Squeaky bum time for sure.

Millwall are spiralling downwards fast at the minute too and will be panicking. I think we can pick up three maybe four wins from the remaining games with a few draw’s thrown in which should see us safe but we have to perform as we did against QPR as a bare minimum.

If we look back 6 or 7 games ago we were looking ok and likely to pick up at least a point. Here we are now with the same players so it can only be a confidence thing which should improve as performances do.

Sad to think I’m looking at the bottom teams fixtures and results to glean a bit of happiness rather than the top end but hey, right now I’ll take fourth from bottom and rebuild in the summer.

Horrible position to be in to actually be in a full on relegation battle. Games like today really do make a difference though…

I don’t expect anything but Plymouth picking up a point against these lot at home means we should be aiming to at least match them. Our home form will genuinely be crucial so I hope we can turn that ship fully.

Millwall have picked up since Neil Harris reappeared and it’s now Birmingham who are intent on crashing the relegation party.

QPR and Sheff Weds are grinding results out with only Rotherham looking the only team guaranteed a bottom three place.

I’d still like 50 points but it’s looking increasingly like goal difference will play a big part on the final day.

Definitely going to the last game. Our next few are tough and then our season will be decided as we get into those crunch games. I do think this Saturday is a big game mind, we have the beating of them im just concerned they’re now going to have fresher legs after their game has been postponed tonight. If we can pick up three points on Saturday it’ll feel huge, bigger than we might anticipate.

If Plymouth lose on Saturday against Blackburn they’re going to really struggle also! Same with Birmingham. Still loads of teams in the mix.

Rotherham, QPR & Plymouth/Huddersfield are my leanings at the moment.

Just a side note, if you want to feel a little better as we navigate the run in on this relegation battle… check out Blackburns fixture remaining. Not saying they’re down but it doesn’t look good for them 👀

Tomorrows game for Plymouth & Blackburn is huge in my opinion.

- Plymouth (H)
- Boro (A)
- Ipswich (H)
- Sunderland (A)
- Southampton (H)
- Bristol (A)
- Leeds (A)
- Sheff W (H)
- Coventry (H)
- Leicester (A)

Only three teams in the bottom half.

Looking at the above fixtures Blackburn are going to find it tough. Birmingham seem to be falling rapidly since Mowbray has left to get over his medical issues, Plymouth still look dodgy. We are by no means out of it and we still need points to be safe. Rotherham look like they’re done so two places left. I’m going for Sheff Weds and Birmingham but that could and probably will change after the weekend.

Come on Stoke, we can do this.

Birmingham & Huddersfield fixtures are favourable though, they’ve got all the team around them to play and not many top table teams.

Plymouth aren’t looking great & Blackburn are goners for me. There’s fans have already turned on the manager aswell.

Plymouth, Blackburn, Huddersfield & Birmingham to fill the bottom two. I think we’re going to be good, let’s see how this Saturday goes. A game on paper we should lose but with the way we have been playing theres hope in everything game. Strange how quickly things can turn hey…

Have to be realistic. Next two games are more than likely to be two losses. I’d like to think we can pick up points but it’s not the end of the season if we don’t 👍🏻

Surely we've got to win our next 2 home games, that 6 points will really help. Agree that Plymouth are down.
Victory on Saturday would be great. It won’t be easy though and we will miss Berger so I’ll happily take a point right now but I’ll be hoping for all three 👍
