To put how shite we have been into context there is this sobering fact. In 2018 we we're playing Liverpool, Manure and the Arse in the Premiership. Our old nemesis from many years ago were in the Vanerama National league North playing Alfreton Town , Curzon Ashon and Spennymore Town. Now 6 years later we have a real possibility of being in the same division again 😞

Unbelievable isn’t it. I remember well the Stockport battles, Steinos court case against Jim Gannon, the Autoglass Final and the playoff defeat. What a slump in just a few years 😞

Kevin Francis. He was 6’ 7 tall and scored against us at the Vic in one of those playoff matches. He was crap but his height made him a tricky player to handle. Like a budget Peter Crouch.
 
It was the Stockport rivalry that hooked me as a kid, we seemed to come up against them in all the big games!

Still to this day, I have an un-natural hatred for them :p so much so me and the wife were in York a few years back and they were in town... totally ruined my weekend really, every pub we went in they were in there singing about Kevin Fucking Francis!

Caz really wasn't impressed once I'd had a couple and gave them a solo "Only one Steino" 🙈
